In the field of mining Saarschmiede manufactures huge breaker shafts with finished weights of up to 80 t, which are used in crushers for breaking up ores. Conveyor shafts from Saarschmiede are also used in the transport and further processing of raw materials such as ores or coal.
Among other applications, our forged rings are further processed as preliminary products by our customers to make tunnel drilling heads.
